A Classic Family Photo

This was an attempt to get a picture of my Grandma with her grandkids and great grandkids. As you can see, it wasn't the most successful but I think it is hilarious!!

Where has the summer gone??

Our summer seems to have just flown by!! We were lucky enough to get to go on two vacations this summer. First we went to Hilton Head with the Allison's and then to Montana with the Hill's. Both were great trips and James loved both places. Between traveling he has been busy playing, find treasures, swimming, digging in the dirt, jumping in puddles, learning how to ride his tricycle, talking, talking, talking, seeing how high he can jump off of everything, collecting rocks in every possible pocket, and laughing through it all! We hope that you enjoy the updated pictures of our little guy. Hope that all is well with everyone!!

Big Sky!!

James loved exploring Ousel Falls. There were rocks, so he was happy!! Thanks again Gran and Bandpa for a great week!!

A camping we will go!!

While we were in MT we went camping at Cliff Lake. Everyone had a great time and, as you will see from the pictures, James loved playing in the dirt!! All of the kids had a great time canoing, hiking, eating smores, and playing together.

Hilton Head

We went to Hilton Head this summer with Chad's parents and had a great time!! James loved the beach, playing with his cousins, and seeing all kinds of new things.

Playing at the beach!!

James is a beach lover!! We went to beach in Hilton Head and James never wanted to leave. He loved knocking down sandcastles, digging for treasures, finding shells, jumping in the waves, and playing paddle ball. He loved the beach in Hilton Head!! Thank you again Maw Maw and Paw Paw for a wonderful week!!

Amelia Island

My Uncle John and Aunt Sharon where nice enough to let us go visit their home away from home in FL. We had a great time at the beach, going on a boat ride, seeing dolphins, seeing a shark attack, and spending time with JC! We hope to go back again.

Happy Father's Day!!

My dad came up and spent Father's Day with us. James was actually allowing me to take him picture on this day and he had a new haircur so they are actually some of the best pictures we have of him in a long time!!

Mess, mess, and more mess!!!

James has mastered making a mess whenever he can. I was taking a shower one day and looked out to see him playing with Chad's shaving creme can. I never thought he would be able to push the button hard enough to really get any out. As you can see from the pictures, I was wrong!!!

Swimming

I went swimming at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house early this summer. It was so much for and I wore goggles for the first time. I have been swimming a lot this summer!!

Growing Up!

James is growing up faster than we ever thought possible. It is so hard to believe that he is 2 already!! He is saying everything and he is talking ALL the time. He runs or hops everywhere and seems to have forgotten how to walk! We hope that you enjoy the updated pictures!

Our little engineer!

James loved his train engineer outfit for his party and we thought he looked so cute in it!!

James' 2nd birthday party!!

We had James' best buddies Owen and Belle over for his 2nd birthday party. The train theme was a big hit. James loved everything about his party, but his favorite part was blowing out the candles.

Children's Museum in Indy

While we were in Indy with the Allison's we all spent the day at the Children's Museum. James loved every single minute of it. If you are ever in Indy we highly recommend taking your kids there!!

My new golf clubs

I have been playing golf as much as I can with my new golf clubs. I love the driver the best!!

Birthday in INDY

I met all of my Allison side of the family in Indy for an early birthday party. I had a great time with everybody and got my first set of golf clubs from my MawMaw and PawPaw.

Dying Easter Eggs

James had a great time dying Easter eggs this year. I think that all of them were cracked but they still looked pretty. He wasn't sure about hunting them the next morning but he still thought that Easter was great!

Getting so independent!

James thinks that he can do pretty much everything on his own, and when he wants to do it. He loves to squirt the soap in his hand and wash himself in the bath. This is a picture of him showing me that he got his armpits clean. He thinks it is hilarious to wash his armpits for some reason!

Winter Fun

James has had so much fun playing in the snow this winter. He can't move very well once we get him all bundled up but he loves being outside.

Merry Christmas!

James is a huge helper around the house. He loves to help Chad do anything. As you can see, he thought that Chad needed help putting the garland on the tree. He is standing on the first step of the step stool.

Where is James?

I think this tree looks great!! It even has a straight trunk!

James thought that if he sat on Chad it would help cut the tree down!!

My Uncle Greg, Aunt Stephanie, Grace, Audrey, and Luke all came up for Thanksgiving this year. We had so much fun playing together! I got to meet Luke for the first time and he was so sweet!

My 1st train ride!

I went to Chicago the weekend before Thanksgiving with my mommy, daddy, Gran and Grandpa for the school board convention. The best part was that I got to ride a Choo Choo up there and back. I thought it was so much fun!! Elmo liked it too.

Very late Halloween picture!

I was the Itsy Bitsy spider for Halloween this year. I loved getting dressed up and I still wear my costume sometimes even though it is December.
