Pumpkin Picking

We went pumpkin picking last weekend. I thought that we were going to pick apples but was very excited to see all the pumpkins in teh pumpkin patch just waiting to be picked. I had a great time and picked out my very own pumpkin for the first time.

How will I ever find the right pumpkin for me? There are just too many!!

I finally had to sit down and rest. As soon as I sat down I spotted the perfect pumpkin. I was right over there!

That was EXHAUSTING!!!

After all that searching I thought I needed a little rest. You wouldn't believe how comfortable a gigantic pumpkin really is.

My 1st horseback ride!

After pumpkin picking we went to look at the horses. Once I got over there, I saw that kids could ride them. I instantly knew that I needed to take a ride on Midnight!

The 1st Allison Campout

A few weeks ago my mommy, daddy, and I went camping. We tought that if we waited until October it would be cooler outside. We were wrong, but we camped anyway and had a great time. My daddy taught me how to throw a frisbee, we went on a short hike, and we sat by a campfire. I can't wait to go again. I loved being outside for 24 hours straight.

It was pretty warm on our big campout but we still built a fire. I really liked sitting in my little chair and looking at it. I followed my mommy and daddys directions though and stayed in my seat. We were going to roast marshmallows that night but I ate 5 before we got around to roasting them.

I loved sleeping in the tent. When we got ready to go to sleep I could hear an owl. I thought that was so exciting!!

Stone came to town!!

My cousin Stone came to see us a few weeks ago so I took him to the zoo. We got along great. Although you can't really tell in this picture, we are holding hands while we were walking together!

I loved the hippos!! If you look very close, you can see a hippo swimming by me!

James is starting to say more and more words everyday. Today he sad fancy and pointed to his new Elmo house slippers. They certainly are fancy too. We hope that you enjoy the videos of him. Unfortunately, they are kind of dark but you can still hear him. I have been trying to get him to talk more with camera out but he just wants to look at old pictures of himself!! Hope everyone is doing well!

Animal sounds

I've been making animal sounds for a couple of months but this is the first time that I have let my mommy record them.

HUGE helper!

I am the biggest helper at home. I love to help my daddy fix anything. My daddy was fixing our refrigerator door and I thought that I needed to get down there and tell him my thoughts. We worked together and got that door all fixed up!

Shaving Cream!!!

A few weeks ago I graduated from my high chair to a booster seat at home. Since it was my last time sitting in my high chair my mommy and I thought I should do something a little more exciting than just eat in it. I used half of my daddy's can of shaving cream and loved every second of it!!!

The highest apple

We took James apple picking again this year. Apple is one of the clearest words that he says so we thought that he would really get into it. He loved it and thought the the higher the apple was in the tree, the more that he needed to pick it!

Well, we didn't beat those silly Tigers but we still had a great time. I wish that my cousins and my new friend Cooper would have been there to play with me. Hopefully they can be there next year and the Rebel can beat those Tigers!!

Future Quaterback?!?!

What a facial expression!!

James is busy, busy, busy!!!! From the moment that James gets up to the time he goes to sleep he is on the move. He has mastered climbing just about everything in our house from the couches to the dining room table. He even tries to climb the gates that we have up to keep him out of certain areas. He is starting to talk more and more everyday and but I'm pretty sure that he is telling us way more than we can figure out. He tells us No No all the time and will even say it right before he throws food or something else he isn't supposed to be doing. He is still as funny as ever and makes us laugh everyday. We hope that all of you are doing well and that fall and cooler weather is headed your way!!

Playing on the slides are my favorite thing to do when we go to the park. This slide is in my yard and I think that it is fun but I like bigger slides. I will go down just about any slide that I can find!

When the music comes on I've just gotta DANCE!!!

These are some of James' latest dance moves. You just never know when the music will hit him and he will get down. He was practicing some of his break dance moves in this video. I can never get him on tape dancing because he always stops to see what I'm doing. Hope you enjoy it!

My Great - Great Grandma

Last month I went to my Great-Great Grandma Mary's 99th birthday party. She is my MawMaw's Grandma. I think I am pretty lucky to have a great great grandma!
